We just moved from Texas, and notice alot of the Mexican restaurant here is different. But this place hits home.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, I loved their guacamole and white queso because that's all I went to get, next time I'll be getting full meals

Fantastic food! Everything was great. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Very nice all the way around. The manager came to make sure everything was perfect. It was! The drinks were really good too and their queso was amazing. Best Mexican in Newton!

I was very unimpressed. Really disappointed after the rating/reviews. I don't like the handwritten tickets, my bill looked like to much for what we ordered, I had to ask the lady at the checkout what the charges were for, she then went and asked our server and realized we were charged $20.00 more than we should have been.

Nice interior, good service but back room was extremely cold...turn up the heat a little.

My wife and I stayed overnight May 23, 2018 in Newton, enroute to Norton, KS. We were greeted promptly by our waitress Jaime. She thanked us for visiting after learning we were travelers. She was very attentive in answering our questions about the food and drink. Food was served hot and our selected margaritas were of the top shelf variety. Both were good. A very pleasant experience for travelers passing through!

Enjoyed the special Pancho Villa burrito today.

The week night buffet is a great deal! So much good food for only $10! I especially appreciate the tamales and taco bar.

The Owners and waitstaff are the best. They make you feel like Family. Authentic Mexican food at its very best. Has a fantastic buffet on mondays and thursdays. Food is always fresh and made to order. My favorite restaurant in town!!! I have been back several times since my last review. Owner Sal and his family are excellent hosts and are extremely conscientious about the quality and authenticity of their food. The restaurant is always clean and the food on the buffet is never stale and is well maintained, with a great variety. I cant say enough about this great place and the family who own it. The really do make you feel like family!! I look forward to eating on the terraced patio on cool Autumn nights. Jeff S.

Friendly people- this was only my second time dining here and the first time I just ordered the buffet. Today I decided the order off the menu and so I asked my server for a recommendation between a couple things I was interested in. She pointed me towards a fabulous choice! I brought tamales by the dozen home for my son, who loves tamales, and was given the option to have them warm or frozen. In my opinion this was a great option... causing me to go ahead and grab 2 dozen since they had a promotion and I had the option to get frozen.

They definitely had some really good food the service wasn't too bad either

Ordered Pork Carnitas. I believe the chunks of pork were deep fried to reheat them. Not a traditional prep method and was not a welcome surprise. Guac was good. Atmosphere was fine. Service was average.

Sal and his family and workers are all so nice. Great people! The food is wonderful!! We can't let them go out of business!! They have been there for 40 years....❤️❤️❤️❤️

The service was good with friendly staff... The strawberry margarita was delicious.. Nothing beats Texas Mexican food, but for Kansas it was close!

We really enjoyed the buffet and staff was really on top of service.

By far the worst food we’ve ever had. The fajitas are like watered down stew with no flavor. Queso is gritty, chips stale, salsa bland... this place is open somehow but it’s not Mexican food and the service is incredibly slow.

Save your money. Food was awful. Meat was very tough. Too much lettuce to make the food appear to look like nice portions. Staff was friendly enough though we had indicated a birthday was being celebrate nothing special was done.

Love the interior decor, and always great smiley service. And the food is always great. This is a big family favorite.
